Howard Shriber, Dentist 43 Years
Howard F. Shriber, 76, a dentist in Akron for 43 years, died Sunday at General Medical Center after a short illness. He lived at 525 Overlook Rd.
Born in Ashtabula County, Dr. Shriber was a graduate of Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He had offices in the First National Tower for more than 30 years
He was a World War I veteran.
He was a member of the Akron Dental Society, Yusef Khan Grotto and the Tadmor Shrine Scottish Rite.
He was also a member of the American Legion Post 19 and the Trinity United Church of Christ.
He leaves his daughter, Mrs. Dan F. Wheeler, Akron; brother Glenn R., Uniontown, and two grandsons.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Billow Fairlawn chapel. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
