Caroline Otelia (went by Tillie) Keller was the third of five known children of Benjamin Keller (1817-1891) and his second wife, Caroline Lucinda Miskch Keller (1825-1912); who married 08 Jun 1852 at Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Johnna Johnson says that she read in the Bartholomew County birth index that Otelia's first name was Charlotte, but other records show Caroline. Does anyone know for sure? Maybe the Caroline is mixed up with the first name of Otelia's mother? Johnna also supplied the marriage date for Otelia and her husband.

Otelia married Henry Samuel Rominger (1849-1926) on 17 May 1881 at Tuscarawas County, Ohio (it is not known how they met). Otelia was from the Moravian community of Sharon, Tuscarawas County, Ohio and Henry was from the Moravian community of Hope, Bartholomew County, Indiana. Otelia and Henry were the parents of four known children, namely:

1. Morris Simeon Rominger (1882-1963)
2. Walter Levi Rominger (1884-p1930) died in Michigan?)
3. Clarence Eugene Rominger (1887-1976)
4. Caroline Rebecca Rominger (1890-1907)

After Otelia died, Henry remarried to Laura Sophia Fishel (1850-1944) on 30 Mar 1892 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. Henry and Laura did not have any children together.

Links to Otelia's parents, husband and two of their four known children are included below.

Find-A-Grave contributor Shelli Steedman added the following:
