VAN TAYLOR, 73, of Memphis, retired employee of Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died there Thursday of heart failure. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home with burial Thursday in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Taylor, the husband of Dorothy Taylor, also leaves two daughters, Shirley Taylor Funches and Beulah Taylor Morton, and a son, James Cropwood, all of Memphis, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
