Mrs. Brown was the widow of the late William Henry Brown (1890-1943). They were married on January 25, 1919 and had four children: Mrs. Martha Cole Brown Harris (b. 1919-2002); Mrs. Rachel Elizabeth Brown Urbanski (b. 1921); William Forbes Brown (1925-1976), and E. Cowan Brown (b. 1933), all of Ohio.
Mrs. Brown was a licensed psychiatric nurse and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Walbridge, OH.
