Driver Succumbs To Burns
========================
George Hugh Berry, forty-six, 97 W. Main, North East, burned to death this morning in the cab of the gasoline tanker he was driving.
State Police said that about 4:15 a.m. Berry apparently fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle and the tanker went out of control, off the road, jackknifed, and exploded. Berry died of burns, according to police, not injuries suffered before the explosion. Berry was a driver for the J.R. Bull outlet for Pennzoil-United, Inc., North East. Police said damage to the truck and loss of gasoline amounted to about $47,000.
