On July 21, 1968 she married Victor Kyle at Zion Lutheran Church in Carleton, NE. They made their home in Hastings, NE where Ruth worked as a beautician, homemaker, and para-educator. She worked as the library para-educator at Watson Elementary school for 21 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Goldie Voss.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Vic; daughter Mary (Ryan) Hall; son, Robert(Carol) Kyle; brothers, Duane (Patti) Voss, Allen (Janet) Voss, and Leroy (Carol) Voss ; six grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Zion Lutheran Church in Carleton on November 23, with Pastor Jonathan Jensen officiating. Renee Dowdy accompanied the congregation who sang, "How Great Thou Art" and "Rock of Ages."
Casket bearers were Victor Kyle, Joe Voss, Neal Voss, Ben Voss, Cory Voss and Jim Spickelmier.
Honorary bearer was Dallas Kyle.
Interment was in the Carleton City Cemetery.
