The following tribute by co-worker Patricia Seibert expresses the feelings of everyone who worked or knew Phil.
"Friendship. This man knew the definition. He was the light to his family, the light to our office and the light to our friendship. Phil was always like this, always happy. Phil would make me laugh more than anyone I know. He made work fun, He made a bad day good and was always there to help everyone. As my neighbor he would call and say "no need coming in for that I'll bring it to you". I almost couldn't wait to see what he would put in my mailbox because there was always something hilarious attached. Aside from the laughter he taught me so much. I depended on Phil for lots. His mind was amazing and he could remember everything, solve anything, he was incredibly smart. His love for his family was unreal. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his family, friends, clients and just anyone really. There are no words for how difficult this is and how heartbroken So many are.
