Funeral services for George Harvey Guisewite, 81, of Woodward, RD, who died Monday, February 14, 1942, at the home of his son-in-law, Lester P. Fiedler, near Howard, were held at the Fiedler home with Reverend O.E. Freeman of Millheim and Reverend G. A. Fred Geising of Aaronsburg, officiating. Interment took place at Woodward.
A retired farmer, he was born in Clinton County, a son of David and Anna Royer Guisewite. His wife, the former Rebecca Beck, preceded him in death. Mrs. Fiedler, an only child, died several years ago. One brother, Allen, of near Loganton, survived in addition to two grandchildren.
