He was born Oct. 4, 1894, in Franklin County, to Don and Mollie Garrison Williams.
He married Lou King, who preceded him in death May 23, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Molly Melvin of West Frankfort and Edna Maddox Roussin of Sesser; a son, Kenneth L. Williams of Herrin; and 15 grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a son, Henry Perry, one brother and one sister.
