LEE M. MYERS

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Sligo for Lee Marion Myers, 69, died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at his home in Sligo RD 2.

A retired laborer, Mr. Myers at one time was road superintendent in Piney township.

He was born in Piney Township June 23, 1891, a son of William M. and Margaret S. Kifer Myers. He married Lulu McHenry, Jan. 27, 1915, who survives.

A lifelong resident of Piney Township, he was a member of Monroe Chapel Methodist Church and the I00F Lodge in Sligo.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six sons, Jay W. and Gerald H. of Sligo; Dale W., Ashley, Earl S. and Hillis of Butler; (Veda) Fye of Knox; a brother, Homer, of Sligo RD; a sister, Mrs. Floyd (Estella) Finefrock of Sligo, RD; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A son, Glenn, died in 1917. Also deceased are two brothers and two sisters.

Rev. William Milliron, pastor, of Monroe Chapel, and Rev. Albert Renwick, pastor of East Brady Methodist Church officiated.

Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
