Lucy Brown Manns Arnold, 78, of Stanleytown, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the health care center. Born Oct. 21, 1923, in Franklin County, she was a daughter of Frederick and Nannie Brown. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Arnold, and a daughter, Rosa Arnold.
She was a domestic worker and a member of Waterway Temple Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Virginia Perry, Lula Washington, Peggy Arnold, Juanita Ross, Alzina Gilbert and Gloria Jean Simms; six sons, Joseph Manns, Robert Arnold, Walter Arnold, John Arnold, Samuel Arnold and Rev. John Manns.
Burial will be in Carver Memorial Gardens.
