He was born February 1, 1932, at Roanoke, a son of the late Winton K. and Grace (Carter) Williamson.
He was a US Navy veteran and avid fisherman and woodworker. He was a 1950 graduate of Fries High School.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Null Williamson, his parents, and his sister, Juanita Hale (62175688).
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tammye Burnette of Boulder, CO; one nephew; two nieces; and a special friend, Lois Critzer.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted Monday, November 21, 2016, in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Ed Pruitt.
