Lisa is survived by the love of her life Keith; son Eric of Johnston; parents Walter and Marilyn Homsey of Marion; six siblings Jon Homsey of Dubuque, Walter Homsey of Phoenix, AZ, Teresa (Ray) Campbell of Mission Viejo, CA, Michael (Theresa) Homsey of Cedar Rapids, Amanda Homsey of Atlanta, GA and Laura Barger of Cedar Rapids; father and mother in law Lyle and Delores Jensen of Cedar Rapids and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Janet.
Lisa was born on June 11, 1960 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Walter and Janet Haddad Homsey. She married Keith Jensen on November 3, 1984 at First Lutheran Church. Lisa worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District for 37 years. She started as an associate and later became a bus driver. Lisa loved her job and watching “her kids” grow. She became an expert driver and could figure out any bus obstacle that she was given. Lisa also enjoyed working part time at the Nook & Cranny.
Lisa always threw her heart and soul into everything that she did and she will be deeply missed by her family.
