Dennis was born on August 8, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Curtis and Doris (Rohr) George. Dennis was a devoted family man who spent much time raising his five children and sharing stories and candy bars with his grandchildren. He worked much of his life as a baker and enjoyed cars. Dennis had a deep and faithful connection with our Lord Jesus Christ and instilled these beliefs into his family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his wife Barb George; five children, Dennis (Deb) George of Des Moines, Sheila (Jack) Kamerick of Des Moines, Julie Strause of Texas, David (Tiffany) George of Des Moines and Cheryl George of Muscatine; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry (Pat) George and Norman (Janet) George.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary; two sisters, Donna and Doreen; and his grandson Austin.
