Kurt was born in Helsingborg, Sweden to Harry and Anna Nelson. At 4 months age he immigrated and then eventually settled in Portland. Kurt was a decorated (Bronze Star) WW2 Army Corporal, serving in Europe. After the war, Kurt was a respected Analytical Chemist. Services at 11 a.m. Nov. 16, 2016 at Lincoln Memorial Park.
