Curtis Edward Langston, 62, of 317 Lumpkin Rd., Esom Hill, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2002. Mr. Langston was born Sept. 9, 1940 in Piedmont, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Florence Langston; parents, Shelton and Trudie Word Langston. Survivors include daughters, Lisa Langston and Lori Carroll; sisters, Jeanette Cheeks and Betty Rogers; brother, Hershel Langston; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 9, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Biship –III officiating. The interment followed in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Jones, Harvey Bishop, Joshua Langston, Adam Rogers, Wayne Rogers, Ricky Fortenberry. Honorary pallbearers were Hennan Jackson and Clyde McKinny.
