Addie Mae was the daughter of Russell Grayer Sr and Sadie Mae Grayer. She was educated in the Bibb County School System. She was retired from Keebler, Inc in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Mt Hope AME Church in Macon, Georgia. She was also a member of the Rising Star Society.

3 Sisters: Carolyn G. Bennett, Gwendolyn Grayer and Diane Frazier.

Services were held Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at 3PM in the Sanctuary of Stubbs Chapel Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia.
