She married Jay Burroughs and had two daughters, Judi and Jana. In 1973, she married Eddy W. Jordan and they were married for 40 years until the time of her death. JoAnn gained two children, Julie and Jeff, when she and Eddy married.
She was known affectionately as MOM by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The "grands" have memories of her being referred to as "twister" by her husband, Paw Jordan. JoAnn spent most of her adult life in the Conroe and Willis areas as a homebuilder, real estate agent, and owner of a stained glass business. She was very active in the Conroe Chapter of Women in Construction in the early 1970's. She was also the first woman homebuilder in the Conroe area during that time.
Our lives were truly blessed just for having known her. We will miss her dearly.
