Jules Wyum, 76, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Dickinson, ND.

Jules Henry Wyum was born September 22, 1940, the son of Harold and Stella (Carlson) Wyum, in Wahpeton, ND. He was raised in Milnor, ND, and attended the country school through the 8th grade. He then attended and graduated from Milnor High School.

Jules enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on October 29, 1958. He proudly served his country until the time of his honorable discharge on September 1, 1961. Following his discharge, Jules moved to Minot, ND on August 22, 1964.

Jules married RaeAnn Winlaw on February 17, 1966 in Emerado, ND. They made their home in Minot. They were blessed with two sons, Shane and Jeff.

Jules worked for 23 years as a Flight Service Agent for Frontier Airlines of Minot. He then worked as a Travel Agent for AAA Travel for 18 years, until his retirement in 2002.

Jules was a member of the Milnor Lutheran Church and the Eagles Club of Minot.

Jules loved to travel and enjoyed traveling with RaeAnn to Hong Kong, Japan, England, Mexico, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Alaska, Hawaii and many other states across the country. He also enjoyed bowling, gardening, golfing, camping, watching football & the news and playing cards with his family.

Wife of 50 years, RaeAnn Wyum, Minot; sons, Shane Wyum, Minot and Jeff (Rachel) Wyum, Minot; grandchildren, Michael Emory, Jason Wyum, Hollie Wyum, Christopher Wyum, Krystal Wyum, Landan Wyum and Morgan Wyum; great-granddaughter, Sophia Wyum; brothers, Ronald (Kathie) Wyum, AZ, Lynn (Kathy) Wyum, Grand Forks, James (Linda) Wyum, OK, Allan (Carolyn) Wyum, Sunnyvale, CA and Stuart Wyum, AZ; sisters, Barbara (Ronald) Carter, FL, Mary (Rick) Molmen, Fargo and Carol (Jim) Saude, West Fargo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

Jules was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sylvia (Wyum) Frank; and his nephews, Kevin Wyum and Nathan Wyum.
