Donna had worked as a saleswoman for Riggans Advertising. She also had been a swimming lessons instructor for the Water Safety Counsel, and she belonged to a Card Club with her friends. Donna will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends above all else.
Donna is survived by her children, Paula Crawford and husband Alan of Columbus, OH, Carla Vargo and husband John of New Castle, and David Frazier and wife Mary of New Castle; brother-in-law, Jack Frazier of New Castle; grandchildren, Sarah McCauley and husband Frank, April Bray and husband Dan, Beth Stephens and husband Shad, and Joshua Crawford and wife Katie; great-grandchildren, Alan Riggans, Shepard Bray, Alana Bray, Spencer Bray, and Kensington McCauley; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Brinley and Robert Whiteside, and sister, Virginia Morgan.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Saturday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Richard Nero.
Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
