Melba Diane Wood Tumlin, 65, of Florence, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.
Mrs. Tumlin was born in Birmingham, AL, daughter of the late Raymond Pinkney Wood, the late Dearleen Amick Wood Mashburn and her surviving step-father, Houston P. Mashburn. She was a graduate of Samford University of Birmingham, AL, retired as Office Manager of the Pathology Lab at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence and the Prom-O-Neighbors square dance club.
