After appearing in the film and due to her love for the craft, she abandoned her journalistic career and went into acting, appearing in various television series and films through the years. Her film and television credits included "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", "Gossip Girl", "Ugly Betty", "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", "The Stepford Wives" (2004), "It's Complicated" (2009), and, most recently, "Nashville".
