Mrs. Sara Oliver of Princeton passed away Thursday, November 17, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center. She was a long time member of the Northside Baptist Church who retired from the Princeton Hosiery Mill, but later became a beautician. She was the daughter of William “Bud” and Rosie Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas L. “Jack” Oliver. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte A. Mitchell, of Princeton; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Oliver Cayce and Lyle Cayce, of New Orleans; and her son and daughter-in-law, Tony G. Oliver and Nancie Oliver, of Fredericksburg, VA. She had six grandchildren (Angela Desmond, Jaclyn Seeger and husband, James, Kenneth Cayce, Saralyn Cayce, Dr. Kelly McDonough and husband, Dr. Ed McDonough, and Graham Sullivan and wife, Lauren); 2 great granddaughters, Natalie Stevenson and Maddie McDonough; twin great grandsons, Cole and Evan Desmond; and one great-great grandson, Aden Stevenson. Sara was loved by her brothers in law and sisters in law, and her many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Family will meet at Morgan's at 10:30 AM Saturday morning.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2016 at Morgan's Funeral Home.
