Carolyn Sue Dockery, 62, of Stafford County passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Stafford Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol retired from Stafford County Social Services in 2014. She was an incredible person who loved spending time with her family and friends. Carol leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 46 years, Thomas Dockery; her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Jenny Dockery; her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Scott Andrews; a brother and sister-in-law, Julian and Isabell Howard; brother Tony Howard; her sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Greg Crowder; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. At Carol's request, the funeral and burial will be a private event for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, uvahealth.com/livingdonation.
