John David Moseley, 59, after a long illness, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 11, 2016 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas. David was born October 8, 1957 and at the age of two years was adopted by Richard R. Moseley and Carolyn Spooner Moseley.

David graduated from El Dorado High School in 1976. He then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received his Masters Degree in English and finished two years of Law School. As a Graduate Student, David taught Freshman English at the U of A. David was a writer, artist and teacher. He had a kind heart, a great sense of humor and he was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Carolyn Moseley.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Moseley Welch, her husband, Scott Welch and their children, Casey, Sam and Seth Welch, all of Little Rock; his aunts, Kay Spooner Patterson and Sue Spooner Jacobs; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be performed by Reverend Tony Griffin at Highland Valley United Methodist Church, 15524 Chenal Parkway in Little Rock on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.
