Lois M. Pearson, of Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, she was 70.

Lois was the daughter of the late, William and Alberta Baker.

Lois worked as a bank teller for over 18 years with the Greenwood Trust Company which later became Discover Bank. After her retirement, she worked part time for Willey Knives, although her favorite job was babysitting her grandchildren.

Lois enjoyed working with the flowers in her yard, going shopping, and playing bingo on Sunday nights. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and never missed any of their sporting events. She was ecstatic about becoming a great grandmother and looking forward to spoiling her great granddaughter. Lois was strong willed and she loved her family deeply, always putting them first. Her fire service family was her second love in life.

Lois was a member of the Greenwood Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for the past 50 years where she served as past County President, Second Vice President, First Vice President, and Past President of the auxiliary. In September at the annual convention, she became the current State President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Lois was also a member of the Calvary Wesleyan Church of Harrington.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Pearson of Greenwood; sons, Richard Pearson (Sherry) of Greenwood, Johnathan Pearson of Bridgeville; daughter, Donna Kay Heberling of Greenwood; and 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Matthew, and Christian.
