Brian French, 72, of Mechanic Falls passed away Monday November 14, 2016. He was born in Lewiston on December 25, 1943 son of James and Shirley (Gammon) French. He graduated from Mechanic Falls High School in 1961. Brian was in banking for 29 years, and then worked as a controller for Holden Refrigeration from 1982- 1991. He later worked as a controller for Schooner Estates from 1991- 2010. He was also a Notary Public. He married Gloria Harriman on May 22, 1988. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, camping and music, especially bluegrass. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Brian loved history especially Native American.
