They were living in the home of Anne Byrne.

Joseph Pigott, a boarder, aged 26, a Carpenter,
Francis Pigott, a boarder, aged 22, a Cycle Mechanic,
John Pigott, a boarder, aged 19, a Post Man,

all present had been born in Co. Dublin.

In the 1911 census, John Pigott was still living in Balally, in the home of Anne Byrne.
He was aged 29, a Rural Postman.


John Joseph Pigott, of Rathfarnham, a Postman, son of Richard Pigott [deceased], a Journalist, married Bridget Kelly, of Sandyford, a Servant, daughter of Michael Kelly [deceased] a Tradesman, at Holy Cross Church, Dundrum, Co. Dublin, on 9 August 1917.
The witnesses were John J. Adams and Annie Doyle.



John Pigott died at St. Kevin's Hospital, Dublin. on 19 March 1959. The cause of death was Hypertemesis and Bronchitis. He was said to be 79 years of age, and his occupation was Postman.
His home address was noted as 13, St. Mary's Avenue, Rathfarnham.

His wife Bridget died 7 days later on 26 March 1959.


Their graves are unmarked.
