Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, for Vera Dean Maddox Walls, age 88, of Braselton. The Rev. Jason Walls will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Walls passed away Monday, April 20, 2015.
Mrs. Walls was born in Jackson County on Sept. 2, 1926, to the late Perry and Ida Maddox. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, R.P. Walls.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sue Ellen Walls, Sugar Hill, Ga., Roy and Floriberta Walls, Gainesville; son, James Walls, Braselton; 11 grandkids; 30 great-grandkids; and 11 great-great-grandkids.
