Ruby A. Bryant, 77, of Harviell, Mo., passed away Tuesday Nov. 15, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Bryant, one of 17 children born to the late Virgil and Rosa (Robison) Cowan was born Dec. 15, 1938 in New Madrid, Mo. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy during the Berlin Crisis. During her earlier years Mrs. Bryant was an admissions clerk for the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and going to flea markets, painting, playing guitar and writing poetry.

On April 29, 1967, she was married to Robert (T-Bob) Bryant in Millington, Tenn. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two children: Timothy Bryant of Tulsa Okla. and Kevin Bryant of Harviell, Mo.; six grandchildren: Lisa Davis and Jason Bryant of Harviell, Mo., Della Jean Bryant of St. Louis, Kevin Wayne Bryant Jr., Samuel Pogue and Christopher Bilsky all of Harviell; six great grandchildren: Ethan Davis, Jacob Davis, Heather Rose Bryant, Jayce Pogue, Annalise Conn and Atom Conn; and eight brothers and five sisters

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Marty Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Kinsey Cemetery in Butler County.
