Catherine was born April 25, 1931 in Boswell, Oklahoma, to the parents of Henry and Sallie Curry.

She grew up in Boswell and received her formal education at the Boswell Public Schools. After moving to Sherman, Texas, Catherine united with the Community Baptist Church. She was a very dedicated employee of Goodwill Industries until she retired.

Monday morning, November 14, 2016, Catherine left the comfort of her home to be with her Lord and Savior in the Eternal Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Sallie Curry, son: Willie S. Johnson Jr., sisters: Glodene Fountain, Odie Bell McClure, Arestine Dunn and brothers: Morris Curry, J.C. Curry and Raymond Curry, grandkids: Lacresha Johnson, Carlene Johnson, and Ricky Johnson.

She is survived by daughters: James Etta McGee, Kathy Brown, Debra Johnson, and Fae Johnson, sons: Larry Johnson, Larue Curry, and Ricky Johnson, sister: Lucille Pope, brother: John W. Curry, and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Public viewing will be at Waldo Funeral Home on Friday beginning at noon till 8 P.M. and Saturday at 9 A.M. till 1 P.M.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 19, at 2:30 P.M. at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Leslie, Jr. officiating.
