Donna L. Martin, 67, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
She was born in Waukegan, IL on November 28, 1948 to the late William and Mildred (McVennon) Munroe.
Donna was united in marriage on November 19, 1967 to Rick Martin. She had worked at Nobles IGA and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Donna enjoyed being with her grandchildren, cooking and baking.
Surviving are her husband, Rick Martin of Tell City; sons, Brian (Shelley) and Wayne Martin, both of Hawesville, KY; a brother, Don Munroe of Ackworth, GA; sisters, Mildred Gonyo of Wisc Dells, WI, Mary Kent of Park City, IL, Jane Ebert of Zion, IL and Kay Munroe of Wadsworth, IL; 9 grandchildren, Britney and Morgan Martin, Courtney Estes, Tyler and Zackery Martin, Huntyr, Tanner, Jarrett and Amberly Caldwell; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Sanders and Eli McCoy.
Preceding her in death is her sister, Sue Danniule and brother, Ronnie Munroe.
Funeral services will be at 10am CST on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be be Wednesday from 2-8pm and Thursday 9am until service time at the funeral home.
