Born Tressie Frances Higgins, in Arkansas September 1, 1925, and married a WWII army soldier, Thurman A Steele, in Arkansas on April 7, 1944. After the war they settled in the Santa Clara Valley and became permanent residence in the town of Los Gatos in October 1954. She resided in the same house for 62 years, where in a house full of love, they raised two sons and a daughter.
She is survived by two children, Ronald T Steele and Shirley J. Steele Nelson, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was devoted to the Lord and her family, who was by her side when she entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 11th, 2016. She is loved and will be missed beyond measure.
