LELA D. SIMPSON RITES SET
Services for Lela Dowell Simpson, 84, a Mulhall resident most of her life, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in the Mulhall First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ray Tidwell, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, northwest of Mulhall, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Simpson, whose home was in Mulhall, died early Thursday in Logan County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Mulhall on February 15, 1893, and lived there most of her life. She was married to Dock Simpson in 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Opal Dowell, Guthrie, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Nine brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
