Mr. Leslie Dale Thomas passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Shreveport, LA after a lengthy illness. He was born July 19, 1953 in Lufkin, TX. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookwood Baptist Church in their Youth Building known as "The Tank". Located at 9014 Brookwood Church Way, Shreveport, LA. 71106.

Leslie was a wonderful person and was loved very much. Leslie graduated from Sabine High School, Liberty City, TX. Class of 1971. He loved to read and was very knowledgeable in many areas. He was funny and he liked to pick and tease.

Leslie is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Thomas. He is survived by his mother, Bertie Jo Conner Alford of Shreveport. His wife Carla Thomas of Shreveport. Brother Michael Reid and wife Christy of Mountain Home, AR. Sisters Teresa Ringgold of Shreveport, Lori Thomas of Huntington, TX. and Tracy Moore and husband Jeff of Pensacola, FL. Brothers in law Michael White and wife Emma, Gary White, Gerald White and wife Patrice and David White and wife Kathy of Gladewater, TX. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Leslie was an organ donor. His corneas were used to give the gift of sight to two people.

Leslie was cremated. A marker will be placed in the Forest Park West Cemetery at a later date.
