She was born on March 10, 1918 the daughter of Anthony Kleiss and Margaret (Reinhart) Kleiss. She married Herman Joseph Cler on Oct. 17, 1936 in Villa Grove.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband; one brother; three sisters and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by four daughters, Carol (Jim) Carter, Kathy Beyers, Barbara (Erin) Cler and Janet (Anthony) Piselli; two sons, David (Isabelle) Cler and Roger (Mineko) Cler; a brother, Floyd Kleiss; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Kleiss; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Agnes enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, camping, dancing, traveling to Florida with her husband and embroidery. She was said to have made the best pies on earth. She dearly loved her family and being a mother.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Sacred Heart Altar Society, the Sacred Heart Quilters and the Moose Lodge Women's Auxiliary.
