Carrie Thine, who had been employed , in a number of homes in this city in the past, committed suicide by hanging last Saturday evening, at the home of her parents, near Elkport. The young woman had been in a melancholy state of mind for several weeks. The members of her family had no intimation of the seriousness of her condition. Miss Thine leaves to mourn her death her parents, and several brothers, residing near Elkport, and one sister, Mrs. John Doody, of this city. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church, and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery near that place.
