Phyllis Vaughn, 94, Lawton, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at her home in Lawton. She was born Aug. 20, 1922, on the family farm in Hoxeyville, Mich., to Dick and Opal Williamson Pullen. Phyllis was an Army wife who traveled with her husband, Sgt. 1st Class Edward Vaughn, around the world with their four children. Sgt. 1st Class Vaughn was stationed in Darmstadt, Strasburg and Kaserne, Germany; Fort Bragg, N.C;. and lastly Fort Sill.
She is survived by her children: Ross (Sparky) Henderson, Jody and Don Morgan, Michelle and Harry Deckert; her sister Beverly; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ernest, Joseph and Alfred; oldest daughter Penelope; and her sister, Susan.
