Matt Potter 40 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Monday November 14, 2016.
Matt was employed by Arkay Packaging for many years. He was an avid VT and Dallas Cowboy fan, a great guitarist, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. However, most of all he enjoyed being the best daddy, husband, son, brother, and friend he can be. A truly sincere person who will be missed dearly by all.
Left to cherish his memory are his love of his life, his wife of 16 years, Dawn Potter; his children, Brandon and Kennedy Potter; a sister, Ashley Potter Cecil and husband Matt; his parents, Michael and Joyce Potter; grandparents, Freda Potter, Edith Tolley, and Betty Burch; mother and father-in-law, Doris and Larry Layman; special aunt and uncle, Carol and Chuck Sloan; sisters-in-law, Angie Peerman and husband, Mario, and Laura Layman; a very special friend Teresa.
