LaDawn Riddle Stott, 89 passed away, July 29, 2014. She was born March 9, 1925 to Loreta Barnson and Clarence Riddle in Cedar City, Utah. LaDawn graduated from Cedar City High School April 30, 1943. She married Joseph Percy Stott in the St. George Temple on May 13, 1943.
She was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and decorating wedding cakes. She served in many ward and stake callings. She and her husband were ordinance workers at the Ogden Temple for 17 years. They also served in the Connecticut, Hartford Mission.
LaDawn is survived by her beloved spouse of 71 years and their children Launie (Lynn) Severinsen; Rorie (Racquelle) Stott; Michelle (John) James; Twila (Dewey) Hansen; Leisa (Mark) Magee; Martin (Dixie) Stott, in-dopted daughter Linda Peterson; 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836-36th St., Ogden, UT. Family will greet friends Sunday, August 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
