Randall “Randy” Glenn Mitchell passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 12, 2016.
He was born July 16, 1952 to Murl Mitchell and Margaret Kathleen Molls Mitchell in Charleston, WV.
He graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan with a degree in Business. He worked for MRC Global for 35 years, where everyone will remember him for his friendliness and warmth.
Randy was a lifelong athlete, with a zeal for running, cycling, and weightlifting. He loved being outside and going to the range with his friends and family. Randy always had a smile and a joke for everyone.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Margaret Kathleen Mitchell.
Randy was a devoted husband and loving father. His wife, Melanie, and three sons, Drew, Matthew, and Kyle, loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.
He touched all of our lives deeply, and will always be with us.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating. A private burial will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
