Deborah Sue Endsley Gerlach
June 5, 1960 - November 4, 2016
A daughter of Carolyn Bowden Endsley and the late Herbert Endsley, Deborah Sue was born at Stuttgart, Arkansas, June 5, 1960. She was an ambitious young lady and took summer classes on line which allowed her to graduate early. She continued her education at Phillips Community College at Helena.

On March 28, 2009 Deborah was married to the love of her life, Pat Gerlach. Being a true county girl, she enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, and found pleasure harvesting the bounty of her labors. She and Pat trained together running and entered 5K races at Stuttgart, DeWitt and Marvell. Deborah was Pat's hunting partner, his fishing buddy and travel companion. They traveled to Texas to fish in the Gulf, made two trips to Alaska and liked to go to Branson. She delighted in going to flea markets, hunting for that great find and collecting anything with a rooster on it.

Blessed with an outgoing personality, she loved having children around her, especially at holiday time. She also found enjoyment playing with her two dogs, "Baby Gurl" and "GiGi". Growing up Deborah attended the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Ragtown, and later in life, became a member of the Trenton Baptist Church.

She had worked as a secretary for 12 years at Helena Chemical at Holly Grove, when she was diagnosed with cancer. At the age of 56, surrounded by her loving family, Deborah went home to be with the Lord, Friday afternoon November 4, 2016, at her home near Holly Grove.

Family who remain to cherish her memory: her husband, Pat Gerlach; two sons, Daniel Singleton and wife Natalie of Brookland, AR, P.J. Gerlach of DeWitt; 2 grandchildren, Kylie Singleton and Athaliah Gerlach; her mother, Carolyn Endsley of Ragtown; one brother, Bubba Endsley and wife Kim of Holly Grove; sister-in-law, Cindy Endsley of Duncan. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Marlon Endsley.

Graveside services will be held 2PM, Sunday, November 6th, at Franks Cemetery with Rev. Fern Davis officiating. Pallbearers are Mike Chastain, Jerry Collins, Jason Dixon, Kevin Endsley, Wayne Endsley and Rocky T. Gerlach.
