Rachel Mae Turner, age 71, of Ooltewah, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2016 at a local hospital. She was born in Fannin County on March 31, 1945, to the late Julius and Blanche Panter. She worked for Gem Products and Sears Service Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her son, Donald Gregory Turner; brother, Bob Panter; and sister, Judy Allen.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1:00PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
