Susan M. Hunter, 76, Kokomo, passed away at 9:47 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at her home. She was born on May 23, 1940, in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Wayne & Ethel (Fry) Hintz.

Susan worked for the Kokomo Police Department for 33 years as a secretary, and bartended at the F.O.P. for many years. She was a member of the Eagles, and enjoyed going to the Steel Guitar Festival. Susan loved her family, friends and her dogs.

Susan is survived by her brother, Henry Hintz, Washington, NC; her aunt, Mae Smith, Ypsilanti, MI, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Dickie Hintz, Larry Hintz, Jerry Hintz, Sally Anderson, and Bill Hintz.

Private services will be held at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 West Jefferson Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Jeff Russell officiating.
