Mr. Farley died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Redding Care Center.
Born Feb. 23, 1917, in Oakland, he spent most of his life in Shasta County.
He was -- high school teacher, -- general contractor who built 2,500 homes in Redding, -- real estate broker, past president and co-owner of Redding Racquet Club, and -- member of Riverview Country Club, Bidwell Golf Club, Redding Elks Lodge 1073 and the Sports Hall of Fame at Chico State University.
Survivors include son Patrick of Redding; daughters Jann Johnson of Redding and Taylor Farley-Hunt of Mount Shasta; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
