From the Monitor Review, April 7, 1983:
Glenn M. Thompson, 64, died on Wednesday, March 30 at Veterans Hospital, Minneapolis. Formerly of Adams and Blooming Prairie, he has been a resident of New Hope, Mn. since he retired in 1980 as Administrator of American Lutheran Homes, Menomonie, Wi.

Surviving are his wife, Della, New Hope; three sons, Charles of Austin, Tx., Paul of Gillette, Wy.; Roger of Ellensburg, Wa.; two daughters, Nancy Nordland, Atlanta, Ga., Sarah Olson, Story, Wy.; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Reverend Orin Thompson, St. Louis Park, Mn.; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 2 at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams, with Reverend Allen Gunderson and Reverend Delano Lind officiating. Private interment was in the Little Cedar Cemetery.
