She was the daughter of Albert and Stella (Kaufman) Maag. On May 14, 1941, she married Omer Schroeder, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters: Carol Moats, Sandusky, and Pat (Dave) Gonso, Findlay; a brother, Walter (Janet), Leipsic; two sisters: Agnes Karhoff and Teresa (Arnie) Borgelt, both Glandorf; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law: James Moats; and four brothers and a sister, all linked below.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, the Altar Rosary Society, and the Sunshine Quilt Club, her priorities in life were her faith in God and her love of family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, and playing euchre and solo. In her later years she enjoyed the challenge of Sudoku puzzles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, with Rev. William Pifher officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leipsic.
