Mr. Raymond Ross Owens, 73, of Martin, who died Nov. 14, 2016, at his residence.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. The Rev. David Hazlewood will officiate.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Private family visitation will be from noon until the hour of services at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy.

He was born July 11, 1943, in Troy, son of the late Farris and Annie (Litchford) Owens. He married the former Frances Marie (Fulcher) Wilson in 1971. She survives. He was a retired carpet layer at The Color Shop in Martin, and had been employed at that trade for more than 40 years. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Elizabeth Alexander of Martin; his stepson, Randy Wilson of Easley, S.C.; four step-grandchildren, including Ashley Alexander Taylor and Jesse Nicole Tidwell, both of Martin; four step-great-grandchildren; and nine half sisters.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Owens and David Owens; and two brothers, Frankie Owens and Leon Owens.
