KEIZER - Kathryn B Wells, of Keizer, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

She was born on January 28, 1921, to Charles Frederick and Kathryn Agnes (Stubing) Heppes in New Rochelle, New York, where she was raised and educated.

Kathryn moved to Oregon shortly after her marriage to Almos "Al" Wells in the 1950's, and was a caseworker for Oregon Social Services.

An active church member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, she loved to help people in her church, and loved to share her baked goodies with those folks in the church.

She is survived by her brother Charles Heppes and her sister Andrea Spiegel, both of New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Al.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at St. Edwards Catholic Church at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church.

Keizer Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.
