Mike Boyd, 68, of Paragould, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, at his home.
Mike was born April 5, 1948, in Paragould, and was an Army Vietnam veteran. He was a retired car salesman and an expert at bartering. Mike loved spending time on the St. Francis River.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Boyd of the home; two sons, Michael (Renee) Boyd of Paragould, and Wesley (Mikyla) Crossno of Jonesboro; two daughters, Kasie Westbrook and Kodie (Clint) Potter, all of Paragould; two stepbrothers, Hershel Holcomb and Larry Holcomb of Paragould; a stepsister, Karen Beliew of Paragould; and a nephew, Gordon Westbrook of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Brittany, Amber, Emily, Michael, Brik, Zayne, Madi, Andi, Weslyn, and Tyton; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Boyd, his mother, Joy Holcomb; one sister, Janet Boyd Westbrook; and one daughter, Michelle Gray.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 17th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Elisha and Brad Daugherty officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Clint Potter, Wesley Crossno, Tim McFarland, Britt McFarland, Jimmy McFarland, and Joey Pillow will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Drope, Dan Langston, Jim Mills and Cheddy Williamson.
